About Me

I've been collecting Coke cans since 1986. While not the biggest collection, I enjoy collecting unique Coke cans and bottles from around the world. I also have an unrestored Vendo 81 in my basement. It's been untouched in 13 years. One of these days I'll restore it to it's full glory. Please take a look at the photo gallery, and if you have a picture to share, go ahead and add it!

How to Build a Coke Can Stove

Written by Derek on March 26, 2010, 1,639 views

I ran across this website the other day, with some brilliant instructions on how to build a Coke can stove.   It’s made by assembling the sliced off bottoms of 2 Coke cans, drilling a few holes in it, and filling it with fuel.   I can’t do it justice, you’ll just have to see for yourself.

While I think of it as Sacrilege to destroy a Coke can, some people have made some pretty interesting things from them.  I understand you can also make things out of Pepsi cans after you open them and pour the Pepsi down the sink.

I repent for drilling the holes and cutting up the Coke can.

My recommendation with Pepsi is to spill it onto the ground, and not sully the drainage system with such plonk.

    Cheers,
