Coke neon signs
Written by Derek on April 16, 2010, 2,486 viewsI’ve always loved Coke neon signs. Well, all neon signs really, but I especially like Coca-Cola neon signs. I own a tiny coke neon sign, but it’s pretty sad. I’ve seen them used for as little as $225, but I’ve never had the cash to buy one. I understand they’re also difficult to ship (assuming you get one off eBay), and also expensive to repair. We’ve all seen the signs with one or two letters that don’t work, and I expect it’s because they’re a fortune to fix. I like this picture of a glass of Coke with a straw in it.  If I had one of these, it would be the centerpiece of my collection. If you have one, please leave a comment below, and let us know where you got it. You might even want to upload a picture in the photo-gallery!
This huge neon Coca-Cola sign lit up the night from over a drug store. Sadly, the store and the sign have disappeared.
Buying Coke Neon Sign
A couple of things to consider when buying a neon sign.
1. Shipping cost. It’s important to consider shipping, especially when buying off eBay, or any other website.
2. Insurance. Shipping an item made of thin glass tubes means an increased likely-hood of damage. If the vendor doesn’t offer insurance, make sure to ask for it to be added.
3. Source out a local supplier. eBay isn’t the only source of Coke neon signs. Consider also seeking out local antique markets, or classified ads. Picking up locally means it’s less likely to break on the way home.

Hi
I bought a 1993 Coca Cola Neon Sign. It has the “Always” marketing slogan from 1993…with the Cola bottle upright that’s pretty neat. It is 14 X 17 inches (more square than rectangle) and about 4″ deep. The company that made it is called Neon Technology Corporation. I have a pic if you would like to see it.It is a corded sign and work fine. E-mail me if you are interested and make an offer. Thanks.
