My Coke Can Collection

Here’s a photo of the light-up Coke bottle given away at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games.  Thanks to Larry for sending my the photo!  These bottles are quite rare.  I found a YouTube video of the bottle as it flashes.  A quick check on eBay reveals that these cool bottles are selling for upwards of $40.  Apparently Coca-Cola gave away 50,000 of these items.  I have yet to see one in person, however.

Diet Coke with Bacon flavour

I blogged about “Diet Coke with Bacon flavor” a few months ago.  I was totally making that story up about how it tasted.  Turns out that was one of my more popular posts!  I guess a lot of people were fooled.  I found this photo on the net of Diet Coke with Bacon a while ago and decided to have some fun with it.  I suspect that some graphic-arts student put it together for a laugh.

 There are however a lot of real Diet Coke flavors.  Here’s a list:

• Diet Coke Black Cherry Vanilla
• Diet Coke Raspberry
• Diet Coke Lemon
• Diet coke Lime

Who Do You Intend to Call, may I ask?

There’s a Coke can that I wish I had.  It’s the Ghostbusters promotional Coke can.  They were issued for both Ghost Buster movies and I missed seeing the cans both times. Davide Andreani from www.ad-informatica.com/davideandreani has a great post showing a lot of these collectible Coke cans.
