About Me

I've been collecting Coke cans since 1986. While not the biggest collection, I enjoy collecting unique Coke cans and bottles from around the world. I also have an unrestored Vendo 81 in my basement. It's been untouched in 13 years. One of these days I'll restore it to it's full glory. Please take a look at the photo gallery, and if you have a picture to share, go ahead and add it!

I can’t remember where I picked up this brass Coke bottle, but it sure looks home-made. It makes a great paperweight!

I bought one of these brass sand castings of a Coke bottle at a yard sale some years ago. I still have it. Most people mistakenly believe it’s a Coke bottle plated with brass. A local antique mall appraiser told me that a few of these were made in Italy in the 1940′s, unauthorized by Coca-Cola, and sold in the USA as pop art, “objets d’art”. According to this appraiser, Coke obtained a court order to force the makers to quit selling the brass castings of Coke bottles. Quite interesting, aren’t they ?

I have a brass coke bottle. however, I’m not sure if it was made by the same people that made the one you have listed here. the difference is small, but on mine, it says “registered trademark”, on any others I have seen, they say “trademark registered” I’m not sure if that difference is significant or not, but I saw your post and thought I’d share!

I just purchased a brass coke bottle at an auction. The bottom has a tag – “made in India”. It is abt 7″ tall and has been around for sometime. No idea what it is worth, or as you state makes a good paper weight.

Sorry unlike yours – it just has the Coca Cola writing on it – it doesn’t have the “trade mark” under it.
