Vendo 39 Coca-Cola Vending Machine
March 19th, 2010 by Derek
Look at this gorgeous Vendo 39 Coke vending machine. (Thanks to Bill for this photo!)  This model came in solid red, and two-tone (pictured left). The Vendo 39 was produced from 1949 to the mid-50′s. Inside, the bottles were contained in a drum that rotated to dispense the drink. In the bottom of the unit sat the refrigeration motor. The coin mechanism on the front took both dimes and nickles. The machine stands 58 inches high, 27 inches wide, and 16 inches deep. Restored this machine could sell for $3200 and up. Read more »

new easy grip Coke bottle
March 12th, 2010 by Derek
Well thank God. The 2 litre Coke bottle is now an easy grip bottle. Can’t tell you how many times a Coke bottle has accidentally flown out of my hand, narrowly missing a family member. My children can all rest easy now. “Holy shit!” my wife would cry as I picked up the old “round” Coke bottle. Read more »
1960′s Coke can with Diamond Design
March 10th, 2010 by DerekI was thrilled to receive this photo of a 1960′s Coke can from a reader. Check it out! It’s in great condition and serves as a good example of the earliest Coke can design. I expect it’s made entirely of tin, and what makes it really interesting to me is the top. Marcus (the gentleman how sent me the pictures) included a photo of a second 60′s Coke can with a different top. One had a pull top, the other, a punch top. Read more »
